Painter Daniel Rios Rodriguez To Launch Artist Lecture Series at One River Gallery in Englewood

Brooklyn-based artist Daniel Rios Rodriguez will visit One River Gallery in Englewood on Saturday, April 13 to discuss his current exhibition “Paint Work” (on display at the Gallery through May 26) and the experiences that have influenced his unique style and approach.

“Our Artist Lecture Series will allow art collectors, enthusiasts and students from Bergen County to meet successful working artists and participate in a behind-the-scenes look at their creations and their lives,” says Matt Ross, founder of One River Gallery.  “Given his growing notoriety on the international art scene as well as his current exhibition here at One River, Daniel is the perfect artist to kick the series off.”

Daniel received a BFA from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 2005 and his MFA from the Yale School of Art in 2007.  He was recently featured at White Columns Gallery in Manhattan in their White Room project space and also at last year’s NADA and Independent Art Fairs.  Daniel’s paintings, which have been compared to works by Francis Picabia, Paul Klee, and Pablo Picasso, have appeared in group shows throughout the United States and in Europe.
